“Blessed Rain, Freely Growing” by Yusuke Kosaka Works brings together botanical arabesques and cloud motifs in a bangle inspired by plants nourished by rain.

On one side, the peony arabesque carries wishes for prosperity, protection and continuity. Kosaka places the motif asymmetrically to express the freedom of plants to grow in their own way.

Three individually made arabesque components are carefully layered and carved, creating depth as the stems and leaves overlap. The opposite side combines a fine textured surface with traditional Japanese cloud motifs, inspired by a rainy afternoon.

Behind the design is gratitude for nature’s gifts, alongside a wish for recovery and healing for those affected by heavy rain. Its flowing details and contrasting surfaces offer something new to appreciate as the wrist moves.
